Promises of salvation and deliverance
"Supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free... Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." John 8:31-32, 36. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19. "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me." Psalm 50:15. "Even to your old age,... I will carry, and will deliver you." Isaiah 46:4. "Look to Me, and be saved...." Isaiah 45:22a. "I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior." Isaiah 43:11.
“Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children." Isaiah 49:25 “Refrain your voice from weeping, And your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, And they shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border." Jeremiah 31:16-17. "And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart." Jeremiah 24:7
"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." Psalm 34:18. "Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation" 2 Corinthians 7:10a. "The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations..." 2 Peter 2:9a. "With the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34:19. "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." "The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him." Psalms 37:39-40.
"The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them. " Psalm 34:7. "This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles." Psalm 34:6. "Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence." Psalm 34:4. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31.
"And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved." Acts 2:21. "You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21. "Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear." Isaiah 59:1. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12. "Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth." Psalm 124:8
"I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me." Psalm 55:16-18. "The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord." "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:1-4. "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, [Christ] also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Hebrews 2:14-15
"Let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation". 1 Thessalonians 5:8. "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.... Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 6:19-20, 7:25
"It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:26. "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:1-3. "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, and gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south. They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for a dwelling place. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness." Psalm 107:2-9
"Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." Psalm 103:1-5
"And [Jahaziel] said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s... You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you... Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated." 2 Chronicles 20:15, 17, 22.

Lamentations 3:55-58 I called on Your name, O Lord, From the lowest pit. You have heard my voice: “Do not hide Your ear From my sighing, from my cry for help.” You drew near on the day I called on You, And said, “Do not fear!” O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul; You have redeemed my life.
