God's promises for the suicidal

God is near the brokenhearted, He cares for you
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

God doesn't want you to die, you belong to Him
Ecclesiastes 7:17
Do not be overly wicked, Nor be foolish: Why should you die before your time?
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
Isaiah 43:1
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
1 Corinthians 6:19  Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Jesus already died for you
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus bore your griefs and sorrows
Isaiah 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

God offers you life through Jesus
John 10:10b ...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 John 5:11
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

God exchanges your life for Jesus' life
2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Prevent discouragement by keeping focused on Jesus
Hebrews 12:2-3 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Accept Christ's death and resurrection as your own
Romans 6:3-4 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Your life is hidden in Christ
Colossians 3:1-4 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Reckon yourself dead to sin, but live for God
Romans 6:11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You're God's masterpiece, created for good works
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
God has given you gifts and talents
1 Corinthians 12:4, 11 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Live for Jesus by serving others
2 Corinthians 5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Matthew 25:38-40 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Live to declare God's works
Psalm 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord

God has a hope and future for you
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God will give you strength to go on
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Let God fill your heart with His love
Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Nothing can separate you from God's love
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God won't leave you nor forsake you
Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.

Also consider this...
Many bible figures have felt like dying, including Job (Job 3:11), Moses (Numbers 11:14-15), David (2 Samuel 18:33), Elijah (1 Kings 19:4), Jonah (Jonah 4:3), Jeremiah (Jeremiah 20:14), and even Jesus (Mark 14:34). Jesus took the burden of all your sins and died so that if you accept His death as your own, then you don't have to die. Also accept His resurrection as your own and live a new life lived for Him.
